Covid-19 has changed how we conduct our everyday life, from working to going to the gym. Events and holidays have a big question mark over them for now. Whilst we may have weeks of self isolation and social distancing ahead to help stop the virus spreading, there are things we can do to get us through this together. Here’s the SkinnyBrands Guide to Self Isolation, with ways to help you keep active, stay positive and find enjoyment from home.

#TogetherAtHome Live Streaming Concerts

Chris Martin kicked off #TogetherAtHome, a live concert series to unite people around the world during the current coronavirus pandemic. ‘The right thing to be doing is staying at home… and not buying too much toilet paper’, Chris Martin frontman from Coldplay said.

Each day a new performer will be revealed. The Together, At Home Campaign, is a collaboration between the World Health Organization (WHO) and Global Citizen, whose new virtual concert series intends to “promote unity amid the COVID-19 pandemic’s social distancing protocols.”

The initiative also supports WHO’s historic COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, which hopes to raise 675 million throughout April. Stay tuned via Social Media with the #TogetherAtHome hashtag.

Workout From Home

Keeping an active lifestyle whilst home working or self-isolating could be tricky. Results With Lucy will be streaming Live workouts every day completely for FREE. Tune on to her Instagram page here to find the latest schedule and times of the classes.

Keeping children entertained and active when indoors is hard too. The Body Coach TV has a series of fun workouts for kids on his Youtube channel. Quick, fun and lively this can get the whole family up and off the couch in no time. His at home PE series has hit 1 million = views.

Bring the Cinema to your home

Hollywood is saying to hell with the rules and joining forces with streaming platforms to release new films for the first time onto video demand platforms. There has been a huge slowdown in movie ticket sales with TV and film being consumed more online before the Covid-19 pandemic lets hope our cinemas can survive this drastic change.

Find out which movies will be released straight to streaming here.

You can still support your local independents

The pubs and restaurants might be shut, but we can still support our local independent businesses. Many bars and restaurants are offering takeaways and deliveries to keep the revenue coming in, so why not support them? Whether it’s a special occasion, the supermarket shelves are empty or you just want to keep your favourite restaurant afloat in these difficult times, it’s a great way to break the monotony.

After Work Drinks from home

After a full productive day in your home office make sure you have some SkinnyBrands Premium Lager chilled in the fridge and ready to go. Why not get your friends together on a Facetime chat and say cheers with a Skinny?

Friends are reuniting all over the world to stay in touch. Have you had a friend or family member move abroad that you haven’t had the chance to catch up with? Now is the time. Raise your glasses and check in on one another.
